Your clinical placements provide an opportunity to put your theoretical learning into practice, working alongside highly skilled and experienced children’s nurses at the cutting edge of patient care.You will experience the work of specialist services – from community nursing teams and children’s emergency departments to on-going care services for children with long term and complex needs, including end-of-life care.All nursing students on courses from September 2020 may benefit from guaranteed, additional support of at least £5,000 a year, which they will not need to pay back.**What you should know about this course:*** Nursing and Midwifery at Greenwich is number one in London for satisfaction with teaching (Guardian League Tables 2021).* We arrange clinical placements with local NHS Trusts allowing you to learn alongside experienced professionals and satisfy the requirements of EU Directives.* The course will have joint approval for the University of Greenwich and the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).* Nursing students may benefit from additional support of at least £5,000 a year to help with living costs.
