MSc International Banking

This course explores the role of banks and finance in the modern global economy. Using information from a number of sources, you will study the theory and practice of international banking and financial markets, and their behaviour. You’ll apply theory to real-world problems. You will study different international banking systems, money, investments, and regulations which have become increasingly important in recent years. You will also have the opportunity to take part in a global internship or carry out a project with an organisation.Careers:In the finance industry, many of our graduates work with large international banking and investment institutions, or with smaller firms in the UK and overseas. Many work for other commercial organisations including accountancy firms, management consultancy firms, manufacturing companies, and in the public sector. We find some of our graduates have previous experience of these industries and are looking for a master’s degree to develop their career further. Others are looking to move into a career in the sector for the first time.
