We will explore the latest developments in the field and encourage you to question traditional rules and techniques and take an analytical approach to practical problems.The programme will provide you witha broad understanding of financial theory and analysisan appreciation of the nature and functioning of financial markets and institutionsa working knowledge of accounting information and its use in financial decision-making and analysisthe ability to apply the analysis developed in the course.AssessmentEvery class will either have a class test or assignment during semesters 1 and 2. Exams will take place at the end of each semester in December and April/May.
