In testing times for the health and social sectors, this degree equips you with the skills and confidence to think critically, identify key challenges, influence policy and lead change.Deep understanding of health and social issues is achieved by combining extensive placement opportunities with academic classroom-based learning. At each level you can also choose from a range of elective courses from other disciplines that are complementary to the core health and social sector focus. Several core courses are accredited by the Institute of Leadership & Management. You’ll be given the opportunity to complete a valuable work placement and will benefit from our excellent links with employers.The University of Glasgow is 3rd in UK for Social Policy & Administration (Guardian University Guide 2021)This course is taught at our Dumfries Campus.
