BSc (Hons) International Business Management (Mexico)
Do you want the invaluable insight into another country’s culture and customs that only living abroad can bring? Do you want to combine practical managerial skills and experience with atechnical knowledge of management, plus fluency in another language? We have the degree that delivers this and more.Our double degrees are four-year integrated programmes. You spend two years in Lancaster, two years studying abroad. In addition you will undertake work placements in the UK and overseas. First year students are introduced to business analytics, financial accounting, management, organisation and work theories. In your second year, you will learn more about data analysis, finance, economics and marketing. In both years, you study languages with the Department of Languages and Cultures. All students take an approved work placement in the summer vacations of their first two years.Your third and final years are spent abroad, studying at the prestigious UDLAP (Universidad de las Américas Puebla) in Puebla, Mexico. You transfer to the partner university at the beginning of your third year studying courses such as Managerial Economics and Introduction to Operations Management. You will also undertake a work placement in Mexico, typically starting in the middle of your third year.At the end of the four years, you will be awarded two degrees: BSc Hons from Lancaster and the corresponding degree of the partner university.
