In Years 2 and 3, you will be able to choose from a range of optional modules to tailor your degree to your own interests.Year OneIn your first year you will gain a strong grounding in the principles of economics and their application to real-world problems.Year TwoIn your second year, you will study economic theory and applications, and apply economic reasoning to specialist topics.You will develop a strong understanding of mircoeconomics, the study of individuals and business decisions, and macroeconomics, which looks at the decisions of countries and governments.You will also learn to use quantitative skills in the identification and analysis of economic problems.Year ThreeIn your third year, you will learn to apply economic reasoning to applied topics in economics, tailoring your expertise to your personal interests and career aspirations.You will discuss, analyse, and evaluate policy to assess the performance of national economies and of the global economy.
