BSc (Hons) Computer Science with a Year in Industry

This is the only computer science department in the UK with its own student-run software company – Genesys Solutions. You will get the chance to work for Genesys as part of your course. Teaching staff are experts in iPhone, Android and VR technology. Guest lecturers come from IBM, Microsoft and HP.The department has a dedicated member of staff who will help you arrange your work placement. During the placement year, you will be paid a salary as you put your knowledge to practical use and improve your career prospects.The BSc is a good choice if you want a shorter course – it gives you extensive work experience and a highly respectable degree in just four years.
