BEngTec (Hons) Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Top-up)

**Available for September or January intakes.****Indicate point of entry as Year 3 when applying for this top-up degree.****Summary**: This top-up degree is ideal if you are currently qualified to QCF Level 5 (foundation degree, HND or equivalent) in an electrical, electronic or communications subject and you wish to qualify at degree level and use this as a stepping stone to a master’s course or to enhance your career prospects. Indicate your point of entry as Year 3 when applying.**Course details**: This course comprises three specialist modules including one option chosen from either power systems or communications systems, a broadening module and a project.**After the course**: Work opportunities exist in industries which include aerospace, communications, power generation and transmission, manufacturing and process, research and development and many others. If you successfully complete this degree with at least 2.2 honours you can apply for one of several MSc programmes for further study.
