BA (Hons) Business Management and Japanese Studies
This is a four-year dual honours course. Your time is split equally between the two subjects.The Sheffield University Management School is triple-accredited (by AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS) which puts it among the top one per cent of management schools in the world. It’s also one of the biggest departments in the university, with students from every part of the world, so you can expect a vibrant, multicultural atmosphere. The School of East Asian Studies at Sheffield, where you will spend roughly half your time, is known for its excellent language training and an interest in international business. We teach Japanese from scratch, so you don’t need previous experience. And you will be taught by native speakers in small groups. You will spend your third year at one of our many partner universities in Japan.Many of our graduates find work with multinational companies because they understand international markets as well as the social and cultural aspects of doing business on a global scale. They work for the usual big names such as Amazon, KPMG, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Rolls-Royce. They also find roles in the public sector, with NGOs, and with charities.
